Notably, this operation showcased India’s firm stance on eliminating terror threats from its neighbourhood. It also underscored India’s advanced military capabilities and intelligence precision.

Terror Camps Targeted by India in Pakistan
To ensure maximum impact, the Indian Air Force selected key locations:
- Bahawalpur, about 100 km from the international boundary, known as the JeM headquarters.
- Muridke, 30 km from the border opposite Samba, operated as a LeT training camp.
- Gulpur, 35 km from the LoC near Poonch-Rajauri, acted as a terror transit hub.
- LeT Camp Sawai, 30 km inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, located in the Tangdhar sector.
- Bilal Camp, a vital JeM launchpad.
- Kotli Camp, 15 km from the LoC opposite Rajauri, used as a bomber training facility.
- Barnala Camp, just 10 km from the LoC, also opposite Rajauri.
- Sarjal Camp, 8 km from the international border, opposite Samba-Kathua.
- Mehmoona Camp, 15 km from the IB near Sialkot, identified as a Hizbul Mujahideen training site.
All camps were successfully neutralised during the early morning raid, which lasted under an hour.
Two Pakistani F-16 Jets Shot Down by India
Meanwhile, during the counter-attack, India also shot down two Pakistani F-16 fighter jets. This marked a major setback for Pakistan’s air defences and sparked concern among international observers.
